It amazes me how little the Church knows about the significance of Bible prophecy, much less the American eclipse on Monday August 21st. For those who are watching for return of Jesus, and those who are curious about the end times, this eclipse could mean an ominous warning. As the eclipse crosses the US, many are planning to travel to the cities impacted to watch. It's curious to know that there is also another great American eclipse that will cross the US in exactly 7 years. The path for the 2017 eclipse and the path for the eclipse 7 years later combine to make an exact X over the United States. Could it be a sign of impending judgment on America - the very country that many believe is Mystery Babylon of Revelation 17? The same Mystery Babylon that will be destroyed in 1 day. Hold that thought....
33 days later, on September 23, 2017, does the Revelation 12 Sign of the Woman occur? Another sign in the heavens. Could this be The Almighty speaking to us? Sending signs to wake us up to the times we are living in? Stop for a moment and look around at what is happening in this world. How much further can America and the world move away from Jesus, holy living, godliness, love and forgiveness? Look at the increase in volcanoes, earthquakes, weather anomalies. Wars? Rumors of wars? Christians being beheaded-slaughtered....famines...It's all here with increasing intensity.. But not only that, in the Book of Luke we are told that the generation to see Israel become a nation again, will be alive to see the Return of Christ, the Messiah. Well that happened in 1948!
The constellations will be perfectly aligned, just as described in Revelation 12 on September 23rd--it just so happens to be the Jewish Feast of Trumpets. For those Bible students, we understand that the woman is Israel, the dragon is satan, the stars cast to earth of the fallen angels. Does this mean war for Israel? Does it signify the rescue of the Bride? The Bible does say Jesus returns for us at the last Trump....is it the last trumpet of the Feast of Trumpets this year or later? Is it time for the Tribulation to begin?
We will all wait and see what happens together. But it would be wise, to pray and seek the Lord Jesus about this. Get your heart right with the Father, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He is the only one who can save us from an eternity in hell apart of God and protect us from the horrors of what the Bible says is coming in the last of the last days when satan is cast down to further deceive, slaughter and take as many to hell as he can.
Could these signs in the heavens be God's way of warning us that we are heading towards the Tribulation? In His Mercy, He does warn His People!
